Walking your dog should be safe and manageable for both your dog and their walker. However, some dogs struggle with leash pulling, reactivity, or overstimulation, which can make standard dog walking visits more challenging.
In these situations, we may recommend
Walk & Train sessions, a structured service led by
Kristie that combines professional dog walking with hands-on leash training support. These sessions focus on improving leash manners, building confidence around distractions, and creating calmer, more enjoyable walks using force-free, positive reinforcement methods.
Walk & Train works well for dogs who pull excessively, bark or lunge on leash, or need additional guidance before transitioning into regular dog walking services. Our goal is always safety, consistency, and setting your dog and their walker up for long-term success.
For dogs who benefit from practicing leash skills around real-world distractions, we also offer structured
group dog walking events throughout the Phoenix West Valley. These guided pack walks provide a controlled environment where dogs can work on calm leash manners, focus, and neutrality around other dogs and people.
Unlike dog parks or unstructured group outings, pack walks are designed to support better walking behavior through distance management, handler awareness, and positive reinforcement. They are a helpful complement to individual walks, leash training, and ongoing social confidence building.
Generally, walks are held on Friday nights from 6:30-7:30pm in various west valley parks from October to April. The cost is $10 per dog.
