Level 1 Beginner Obedience Group Class in the Phoenix West Valley is a 6-week positive reinforcement dog training class designed to help dogs and their owners build better focus, leash manners, recall, confidence, and real-world obedience skills.

This class is held in West Valley park settings, starting in quieter environments and gradually building toward more distracting locations. The goal is to help your dog learn how to respond around real-life distractions, not just in a controlled indoor space.

This class includes 6 weekly sessions. Each session is 60 minutes. Classes are held on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. The first class begins on September 19, 2026, and the full program runs Saturdays, September 19 through October 24, 2026.

Participants receive weekly recap emails and group text updates with class instructions, homework reminders, and location details.

Training Approach:
FurBabies & Friends uses positive reinforcement, force-free training methods. We do not use shock collars, prong collars, choke chains, fear, pain, or intimidation. Commitment to at-home practice is essential for the best results.
