Join FurBabies & Friends for a structured, trainer-guided group dog pack walk designed to help friendly, leashed dogs practice calm behavior in real-world settings. These walks give dogs and handlers a chance to build leash manners, practice polite social skills, and grow confidence around everyday distractions.

Each pack walk is led by a positive reinforcement dog trainer and focuses on safe spacing, handler awareness, calm movement, and controlled exposure. This is not an off-leash playgroup or dog park meetup. Dogs remain leashed and under handler control for the full walk.

Who This Walk Is Best For

Pack walks are best for friendly dogs who can remain safely leashed around people and other dogs. Dogs do not need to walk perfectly, but they should be manageable in a group environment and able to recover with space, treats, and handler support.

Minimum Registration Policy

Each pack walk requires a minimum of 4 confirmed handler/dog teams in order to take place. Confirmations may be completed through the website registration form, by marking “Going” on the Facebook event, or by texting FurBabies & Friends directly.

If fewer than 4 handler/dog teams are confirmed 24 hours before the scheduled walk, the event will be canceled and registered participants will be notified. This helps ensure each walk has enough participation to create a true group walk experience while also respecting trainer time and event planning.

Important Safety Notes

Dogs must remain on a 6-foot leash. No retractable leashes, off-leash greetings, or uncontrolled dog-to-dog interactions are allowed. Some walks may meet near dog park areas for easy location access, but the group will not enter off-leash dog parks during the walk.

What To Bring

Please bring a 6-foot leash, high-value treats, water, clean-up bags, and any training tools your dog safely uses. Handlers should wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared to keep space between dogs as needed.
