In this 4-week beginner dog scent training class, your dog will learn how to search, problem-solve, build confidence, and begin developing clear communication when they find the target.
Scent Seekers is designed for everyday dogs and pet parents who want a mentally enriching activity that is fun, confidence-building, and rooted in force-free, positive reinforcement training.
This class begins with simple food searches to teach your dog the search game clearly and successfully. From there, dogs are gradually introduced to structured searches, odor pairing, and common scent training concepts at a pace that supports confidence, clarity, and success.
Over 4 weeks, you and your dog will learn how to:

No prior scent training or nose work experience is required.
This class is best for dogs who can safely work around other dogs and people in a structured group class environment.
This class is not appropriate for dogs with human aggression or dog aggression. Dogs with reactivity concerns may be approved on a case-by-case basis by the trainer before registration.
